Preventing Breast Cancer – It’s What You Eat That Matters
A lot of what you eat at every meal should be colorful fruits and veggies. Fruits like blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries are loaded with antioxidants. Vegetables like red cabbage, sweet potatoes, and veggies that have dark green leaves (kale, cabbage, and spring mix for instance) make excellent salad toppings. The Brassica family, which consists of cabbage, bok choy, cauliflower and brussel sprouts are very important for preventing breast cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer, and lung cancer. Eat them fresh, not overcooked. I also recommend that you buy organically grown produce. Buying organic is not only good for the environment, it also minimizes the amount of residue from chemicals.
