Created by William Roquemore Jr. , Quinta de Cima is really a spectacular 18-hole golf course situated inside the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. There are both the beautiful sceneries of the sea and mountains from anywhere along the course. Many of the holes are dog-legs. Greens are protected by bunkers and lakes particularly the last 3 finishing holes. A stream crosses holes 4, 5, 6 and 13. There will be no real-estate construction on the Quinta de Cima course.
Situated in the Quinta de Lago Development as well as comprising a portion of Ria Formosa, San Lorenzo Golf Course remains in the minds of all who play it - a perfect mix of natural beauty, pristine presentation and hole after hole of challenging golf.
Royal Golf The beautiful 6,175 meter long Royal Course has championship tees and is a lot harder compared to the Ocean Course. This is because of its more interrupted terrain, the quantity of water and sand obstacles and it is generally composed of longer holes. Though the original design is by Sir Henry Cotton, Rocky Roquemore's design trademarks are visible along the course. The US architect who is very active nowadays in Portugal is accountable for the enlargement of the "yellow" course.
